Tinubu Commits to Transforming Federal Civil Service

On Tuesday in Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to strengthening and transforming the Federal Civil Service into a modern, professional, and efficient institution. This statement was made during the presentation of two books authored by the retiring Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, who concluded 34 years of service.

The books, titled “I Planted: A Memoir of Purposeful Service” and “Beyond the Mandate: A Memoir on Leadership, Legacy & Labour of Public Service,” were presented at the event attended by senior government officials, governors, and other dignitaries. Tinubu, represented by Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, praised Walson-Jack for her contributions and emphasized the importance of the Federal Civil Service in implementing government policies.

He outlined his administration's reforms aimed at improving public service efficiency and highlighted the need for a citizen-centered approach to governance.
