Sowore Questions Davido's Disagreement with Adeleke

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), expressed skepticism about reports claiming that Afrobeats singer Davido disagreed with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over the governor's endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term. In a post on his official X handle on Monday, Sowore referenced his previous criticism of Adeleke, stating that he believed the governor was "empty upstairs," which prompted a reaction from Davido.

Sowore highlighted that Davido had previously deleted a tweet in which he stated he would not support Tinubu's re-election, questioning the singer's reliability on the matter. He urged Nigerians to evaluate public figures based on their actions rather than their statements, asserting that the political activities of Adeleke's family were focused on protecting private interests rather than serving the public.
