Tinubu's Road Projects to Transform South-East Region

Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo declared that the South-East will experience significant transformation due to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's approval of two major federal road projects aimed at rebuilding the region. These projects include the design and procurement of roads connecting Anambra, Imo, Kogi, and Enugu to the Port Harcourt expressway.

The specific roads are the Otuocha-Anam-Abaji road linking Anambra and Kogi, and the Oba-Nnewi-Uga-Ihub road connecting Anambra, Imo, and Enugu. Soludo described these roads as critical game changers that will improve economic movement and connectivity across the South-East, South-South, and North-Central regions.

He noted that the approval demonstrates Tinubu's genuine commitment to addressing the South-East's long-standing infrastructure deficits. Soludo met with Tinubu on July 1 to discuss the importance of these roads and submitted a request for details on July 3, receiving confirmation of the approval on July 15.
