Top 3 Modular Refineries in Nigeria Boost Diesel Production

The Nigerian midstream and downstream petroleum regulator, NMDPRA, revealed data on the top three performing modular refineries in Nigeria after Dangote Refinery. Waltersmith and Aradel Energy's refineries in Ogbelle and Edo State respectively, along with EMR Ologbo, showcased significant diesel production outputs.

Despite their smaller sizes, these refineries collectively supplied 0.392 million liters of diesel per day, contributing to stabilizing Nigeria's diesel supply. The data also highlighted the surge in domestic petroleum supply and the need for capacity expansion in the modular refinery sector to meet Nigeria's diesel consumption demands.
