Trabzonspor Rejects Fatih Tekke's Resignation After Loss

Trabzonspor has rejected the resignation of head coach Fatih Tekke following a significant 4-0 defeat to Ferencvaros in Hungary on Thursday, which culminated in a 5-0 aggregate loss in their Europa League play-off tie. Tekke, 48, offered to step down after the disappointing exit, but the club stated on Friday that his decision was influenced by the “intense emotional impact” of the defeat.
