Transcorp Hilton Abuja issued a statement on April 24, 2026, denying claims of a prolonged water shortage at the hotel. The management clarified that a recent disruption in water supply was linked to emergency maintenance work conducted by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board, which began on April 14, 2026.

The hotel management implemented a contingency plan to ensure operations were not affected during the brief outage. They confirmed that water supply was fully restored by April 15, 2026, and maintained uninterrupted service across all outlets.

The statement, signed by General Manager Martin Zarybnicki, emphasized the hotel's commitment to delivering high standards of hospitality and thanked guests and stakeholders for their understanding and support.
