Transcorp Power Plc Appoints Maryam Bala Shehu to Board

Transcorp Power Plc, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, has appointed Mrs. Maryam Bala Shehu as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its Board, effective September 1, 2026. This appointment is subject to ratification at the next Annual General Meeting.

Mrs. Shehu has nearly three decades of experience in the energy sector, including over twenty years in senior leadership roles at TotalEnergies S.A. E&P subsidiaries in Nigeria and a secondment to Nigeria LNG Limited.

Her roles at TotalEnergies included General Manager of Deepwater Administration and Deputy General Manager of Gas Commercial. She has also served as a Board Member and Alternate Board Member of the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria and has finance and audit oversight experience through advisory roles within Nigeria LNG and Brass LNG.

Mrs. Shehu holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University. Emmanuel N.
