Charlton Athletic, Bolton Wanderers Pursue Okonkwo Transfer
Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers are reportedly interested in acquiring Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, as his future at the club appears uncertain following the signing of Anthony Patterson from Sunderland, who is expected to take over as the first-choice goalkeeper. Okonkwo initially joined Wrexham on loan from Arsenal in 2023 and has made a total of 108 league appearances over the last three seasons.
Last season alone, he featured in 39 matches. With only one year remaining on his contract with Wrexham, it is anticipated that Okonkwo will leave the club before the current transfer window closes.
Additionally, Okonkwo has represented Nigeria at the international level, earning two caps.
