De Bruyne Wants Arsenal's Jesus at Napoli Before Deadline

Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has publicly named Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus as the player he wishes to see signed by the Serie A club before the transfer deadline. In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, De Bruyne emphasized the need for a forward like Jesus, who offers a distinct style compared to current Napoli players.

He praised Jesus for his hold-up play and ability to secure victories, stating, “Quality. Quality in attack – on the ball, in hold-up play, and in the build-up.” De Bruyne noted that Jesus could be a significant asset for Napoli and brings valuable experience.

Currently, Jesus is in the last year of his contract with Arsenal and has attracted interest from several clubs, with Italian teams reportedly leading the pursuit. Although Arsenal is actively seeking to sell him, Jesus has not reached an agreement with any team and is keen to extend his contract at the Emirates.

De Bruyne and Jesus previously played together at Manchester City, participating in 156 matches and contributing to 29 goals.
