Suliat Abideen Joins Fenerbahçe from Edo Queens

Suliat Abideen, a 24-year-old Nigerian midfielder, has officially joined Fenerbahçe, a prominent Turkish club, after penning a contract that will last until the end of the season. This transfer increases the number of Nigerian players at Fenerbahçe to three, joining Regina Flourish and Sabastin, who are already part of the squad.

Abideen previously played for Edo Queens, where she played a significant role in helping the team secure the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) title for the 2024 season. Her outstanding performance earned her the title of valuable player for that season.

This move marks Abideen's second club in Europe, as she aims to continue her career in the international arena.
