Chidera Michael Okoh Joins Botev Plovdiv from Greece

Chidera Michael Okoh, a 23-year-old Nigerian striker, has officially signed with Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv after transferring from Greek club Astera Aktor. Okoh, who spent two years at Astera Aktor, initially joined their reserve team before graduating to the first team.

His signing marks Botev Plovdiv's seventh acquisition in the current summer transfer window. Okoh will don the iconic number 9 shirt during the 2026/27 campaign.

He joins fellow Nigerian players Samuel Kalu, Chimezi William, Ifenna Dorgu, and Bryan Hein at Botev Plovdiv, enhancing the club's Nigerian representation.
