Venezia Targets Gift Orban for Upcoming Season

Venezia is reportedly interested in acquiring Nigerian forward Gift Orban, who is currently on loan at Hella Verona. Orban, 23 years old, has made a significant impact during his loan stint, netting seven goals and registering three assists in 28 league appearances.

Despite his impressive performance, Hella Verona has opted not to sign him permanently. According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Venezia is looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The club finished at the top of the Serie B table last season and is eager to maintain its status in the top flight. Orban is expected to return to Hoffenheim after his loan period ends, but Venezia's interest indicates they are keen to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season.
