APC Urges Doma South Aspirants to Accept Primary Results

The Nasarawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has encouraged aggrieved aspirants from the Doma South constituency primaries to accept the results and try again in future elections. Augustin Ogaba, the state party secretary, emphasized the need for unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ebu Onyawoyi, a female aspirant, rejected the primary results, alleging irregularities and manipulation in the electoral process. She claimed that the election was not conducted in four electoral wards and called for the intervention of APC leadership, including the state governor Abdullahi Sule and national chairman Bola Tinubu, to review the process.

Onyawoyi demanded the cancellation of the results and the conduct of fresh, credible primaries. In the primaries, Musa Ibrahim was declared the winner with 4,253 votes, defeating Onyawoyi, who received 275 votes, and other candidates.
