TUC Chair Osifo Praises DSS for Tackling Terrorism

Comrade Festus Osifo, the Chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), commended the leadership of the Department of State Services (DSS) for their efforts in arresting and prosecuting terrorists and bandits across Nigeria. Speaking in Abuja, Osifo stated that these actions send a strong message to criminal elements threatening communities.

He supported the DSS's stance that terrorists and bandits responsible for loss of lives should face the death penalty, asserting that such measures would deter further criminal activities. Osifo urged the DSS to maintain its momentum in arrests and prosecutions, emphasizing the role of citizens in holding the government accountable.

He also praised DSS Director-General Oluwatosin Ajayi for ongoing reforms within the Service and called for more action to address insecurity in the country.
