Two Dead in Aircraft Crash into Building in Brazil

On a recent date, a private single-engine Embraer aircraft crashed into a three-story building in Brazil's Minas Gerais, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The aircraft was reported to be flying low over the city when it swerved past taller buildings and struck the corner of the structure, causing a partial collapse.

The pilot, co-pilot, and three passengers aboard the aircraft sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the occupants of the building.

The incident was confirmed by officials from the fire department, who provided details to G1 news. Aircraft crashes are relatively common in Brazil, which is noted as the world's fifth-largest country, with the National Civil Aviation Agency (CENIPA) reporting 153 aircraft accidents in the country in 2025, resulting in 62 fatalities.
