Jet Blast Damages Nigeria Airlin Aircraft at Lagos Airport

On a Sunday, a jet blast incident occurred at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, affecting a Nigeria Airlin aircraft, specifically an Embraer 190 that had arrived from Akanu Ibiam International Airport on flight UN0503. The incident transpired while the aircraft was parked at the domestic terminal, where multiple ground movements were taking place simultaneously.

The airline reported that the combination of these movements led to a significant jet blast within the ramp area, which displaced ground equipment and struck the aircraft. The impact resulted in damage to external components, including an antenna and the forward fuselage area near the nose landing gear.
