Udi Monarchs Praise Sen. Ngwu for Road Project Completion

The Udi Local Government Area Traditional Rulers Council has expressed gratitude to Senator Osita Ngwu, who represents the Enugu West Senatorial Zone, for his role in completing the Ninth Mile–Ugwu Onyeama–Enugu Dual Carriageway in Enugu State. In a letter dated August 6, 2026, signed by the Council's Chairman HRM Justice F.

Ken Ezeike (Rtd), Secretary HRH Igwe Uche A. Alugwu, and 33 other traditional rulers, they acknowledged the Senator's efforts during their monthly meeting on July 2, 2026.

The completion of the dual carriageway has notably enhanced traffic flow and safety, addressing previous dangers associated with the road. The traditional rulers praised Ngwu's performance in the Senate and indicated their intention to support his re-election in 2027 and 2031.

They also recognized his respect for traditional institutions and his commitment to the welfare and safety of his constituents, affirming their collective appreciation for his legislative contributions.
