UK Offers Fast-Track Student Visa Services for 2026

The UK government has announced measures to expedite decisions on student visa and settlement applications starting in 2026. Applicants can choose between two paid services: the Priority Service, costing £500 (approximately ₦810,000), which promises a decision within five working days, and the Super Priority Service, costing £1,000 (approximately ₦1,620,000), which guarantees a decision by the end of the following working day if identity is verified in person on a weekday.

For weekend or bank holiday appointments, the decision timeframe extends to two working days. The countdown for processing begins from the day of the in-person identity appointment or the next working day after documents are uploaded via the UK Immigration: ID Check app.

Each family member included in the same application must pay the applicable fee separately. The Home Office may extend processing times if additional information is required, and refunds are not typically issued for delays beyond the stated timeframe.
