Umahi Critiques Obi's 'Go and Verify' Phrase in Campaign

Umahi expressed his disdain for this phrase, stating, "I hate hearing this statement he always makes, ‘go and verify.’" He urged Obi to stop canvassing for votes and questioned what Obi has done for the people of the South-East. Umahi's comments were made in a video that gained significant attention on Wednesday.

He emphasized the need to communicate to the South-East electorate not to support Obi and instead back Bola Tinubu. Peter Obi has frequently encouraged Nigerians to verify his claims by consulting available records and documents, presenting this as an invitation for public scrutiny of his statements regarding his tenure as governor and other governance issues.
