Trump Rejects Global Taxes and Calls for ICC Abolition

During the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, President Donald Trump declared that he would never allow global taxes as long as he is president of the United States. He referenced his administration's successful efforts to prevent the establishment of a global carbon tax by the United Nations, labeling it as a costly initiative.

Trump asserted, “There is no global government and as far as I’m president there will be no global taxes.” Additionally, he criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC), calling for its abolition due to its perceived anti-American stance. He emphasized that the United States would not permit its service members to be investigated or subjected to trials by the ICC, which he described as a "rogue institution." Trump urged all nations and ICC members to resign from the court, expressing discontent with its focus on the U.S. while ignoring other global atrocities.
