Trump Critiques UN for Ignoring Christian Persecution

During the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump criticized the United Nations for its alleged inattention to the persecution of Christians in various countries. He questioned the priorities of the UN Human Rights Council, asserting that it has focused excessively on issues related to the United States while neglecting global atrocities.

Trump condemned the council for its criticisms of U.S. domestic policies, including immigration enforcement and transgender issues, stating, “The hypocrites… have little to say about the persecution of Christians.” He defended U.S. immigration policies, emphasizing national sovereignty and the absence of a human right to illegal immigration. Trump labeled Iran as the leading sponsor of terrorism and reiterated his commitment to preventing its acquisition of nuclear weapons.

He also criticized Cuba for its ties to left-wing organizations and declared that communism would not reach the United States. Additionally, he opposed global control over artificial intelligence, advocating for rapid development in the sector.
