UniAbuja Partners with Edutech to Enhance Education Access

The University of Abuja’s Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE) has formed a partnership with Edutech Global to enhance technology-enabled learning and broaden access to quality higher education in Nigeria. The initiative is particularly aimed at working professionals and lifelong learners.

Prof. Uche Anaduaka, Director of CDL&CE, described the partnership as a significant milestone in the University’s commitment to expanding educational access through flexible learning pathways while maintaining academic excellence.

The collaboration will allow more Nigerians, regardless of their location or professional obligations, to pursue recognized university qualifications supported by modern digital learning technologies. Bunmi Akinyemiju, Group Chief Executive Officer of Venture Garden Group (Edutech Global), stated that education is a vital catalyst for national development.

Femi Shonubi, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Edutech, emphasized that the partnership merges the academic strengths of the University of Abuja with Edutech’s expertise in educational technology and learner engagement, creating a flexible and accessible educational ecosystem.
