UniCloud Africa and OADC Partner for Cloud Expansion

UniCloud Africa has announced a strategic partnership with OADC to expand sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure across Africa. This collaboration aims to strengthen the continent's digital independence and reduce reliance on offshore data systems.

Under the agreement, UniCloud Africa will host its enterprise sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure within OADC's carrier-neutral data centers located in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Africa. This initiative is designed to create a local digital backbone for government and enterprise collaboration.

Dr. Krish Ranganath, CEO of UniCloud Africa, stated that the partnership will empower clients with low-latency access and local currency billing, ensuring compliance with regulatory concerns by keeping African data within the continent.

The deal includes the deployment of sovereign cloud services, infrastructure services, platform services, and GPU services across OADC facilities. Dr.

Ayotunde Coker, CEO of OADC, emphasized the importance of localized cloud infrastructure for economic growth in Africa's digital future.
