UNILAG, UNIMAID Students Win N35m JAMB-Rite Awards

On Tuesday, a ceremony was held at the Civic Centre in Lagos to award N35 million in JAMB-Rite awards to outstanding matriculants from various universities, including UNILAG and UNIMAID. The awards recognized the top-performing students from the 2025 admissions exercise across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.

Seven students received N5 million each, including Orzekor Godwin from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Vincent Daniel from the University of Maiduguri, Luka Miendwa from the Federal University of Applied Science Kachia, Joshua Chidieber from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Jame Victor from the University of Uyo, Okek Christian from the University of Lagos, and Ogunsua Dixon Tijesuni from the Mass Communication University of Lagos. Tunji Alausa, presented the awards alongside Dr. Ismaila Adiatu and Prof.

Ishaq Oloyed. Saleem Adegunwa, Managing Director of Rite Food, emphasized the importance of discipline and commitment to studies for the award recipients, who were selected based on a transparent assessment process led by JAMB.
