UNIZIK Officials Face Imprisonment Threat Over Contempt of Court in Anambra State

Three management staff members at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Anambra State are facing imprisonment threats for allegedly disobeying a court order regarding the selection of a substantive vice-chancellor. The officials are accused of contempt of court for not following the directives outlined in Form 86 issued by the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.

This situation arose from a lawsuit filed by Prof. Anthony Okoy against the university and five other staff members.

The court has warned of consequences for disobedience.
