UNN Vice Chancellor Urged to Resign Over Alleged Certificate Forgery Scandal

The University of Nigeria Nsukka faces controversy as pressure mounts on Vice Chancellor Prof. Simon Ortuanya to resign for allegedly tampering with former Minister Uche Nnaji's academic records.

The Coalition of Civil Society Front in Enugu State has called for Ortuanya's resignation and an investigation into the handling of Nnaji's documents. The Ministry of Education has set up a panel to probe the allegations.

Vincent Ani, the group's coordinator, insists on Ortuanya stepping down to ensure a fair inquiry.
