The resource clarifies that the tip form is not for emergencies, advising individuals facing immediate threats to call 911. In addition to the main tip form, the page provides links to six other portals, each focused on specific areas of criminal activity.

The FBI encourages those submitting tips to provide detailed information, including website URLs, app names, usernames, and the date and time of relevant posts or activities. Users are instructed to submit information only once to prevent duplication.
