U.S. Firm Submits Tinubu Allegations to Trump Administration

Von Batten-Montague-York, a U.S. lobbying firm, has announced the submission of over 60 pages of documents related to allegations against Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to members of the Donald Trump administration and senior congressional staff. The firm was retained by Atiku under a 12-month lobbying contract worth $1.2 million.

The documents pertain to allegations from the U.S. Department of Justice regarding Tinubu's alleged involvement in a heroin trafficking investigation that occurred in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The firm stated that many within the U.S. government were previously unaware of these allegations and emphasized the impact of drug trafficking on American communities. They intend to ensure that the complete collection of DOJ court filings and related documents are brought to President Trump’s attention as soon as possible.
