U.S. Offers $10M Bounty on Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei

The U.S. State Department has placed a $10 million bounty on Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and several high-ranking officials associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

This includes Iran's Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib. They are accused of commanding units within the IRGC involved in planning global terrorist activities.

The announcement is part of the U.S. government's reward for justice program, which offers financial incentives for credible information that can assist authorities in locating and prosecuting individuals connected to terrorism. The State Department encourages anyone with relevant intelligence to submit tips through secure channels, including the Tor messaging app and Signal.

Mojtaba Khamenei assumed his position following the death of his father, former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, on February 28. Reports indicate that he was injured during an attack but has not appeared publicly since then.
