U.S. Secret Service Offers $75,000 Recruitment Incentive

The U.S. Secret Service has opened applications for individuals seeking to join its uniform division, announcing a recruitment incentive of $75,000 for successful candidates.

The announcement was made on the agency's official page on Monday. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens aged between 20 and 40, possess a valid driver's license, and pass medical and background checks, qualifying for a top-secret security clearance.

The uniform division's responsibilities include protecting key government facilities, such as the White House and the Vice President's residence, as well as supporting operations involving presidential visits and foreign leaders. The recruitment process will involve an entrance examination, interviews, background investigations, and a physical fitness test.

Successful applicants will undergo 13 weeks of training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Maryland.

The $75,000 incentive will be paid in installments over four years, and new recruits will earn an annual salary ranging from $77,987 to $134,165, depending on experience and career progression.
