Iran Ambassador Claims US Seeks Oil Control Amid Conflict

He referenced the announcement made by the new Supreme Leader's son, Ayatollah Khamenei, emphasizing that Iran is an independent nation capable of managing its challenges.

The Ambassador condemned military aggression that causes human suffering and infrastructure damage, asserting that Iran continues to function normally despite such pressures. He mentioned the recent attack on a school in Minab city, where 168 children were killed, and criticized the targeting of civilian infrastructure.

The Ambassador affirmed Iran's commitment to diplomatic solutions but insisted that a ceasefire without addressing the root causes of conflict is unjust. He also highlighted Iran's strong relationship with Nigeria, based on mutual respect and cultural connections, and denied any support for sectarian groups, emphasizing that Iran respects the sovereignty of all nations.
