Javier Milei Calls UN a “Useless Organization” in Address

Argentine President Javier Milei, during his address to the United Nations, described the organization as a “useless organization” run by “arrogant parasites.” He criticized the UN for not fulfilling its responsibilities in promoting collective security and protecting human rights, claiming it has allowed “chaos, violence and international terrorism” to flourish. Milei, an ally of United States President Donald Trump, specifically condemned the UN's handling of Argentina's claim to the Falkland Islands, known as Las Malvinas in Argentina, which are administered by Britain.

He accused Britain of ignoring a UN resolution that calls for both parties to refrain from unilateral actions regarding the disputed territory. Milei stated, “Those who follow the rules receive no reward for doing so, while those who break them face no repercussions whatsoever.” He has consistently used the UN platform to criticize global governance and its “woke” agenda.
