Uzodinma Suspends Imo Housing Corporation MD Ucheoma

Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State, has officially suspended Raymond Ucheoma from his position as the managing director of the Imo Housing Corporation. This suspension was communicated through a letter from the office of the governor, which was made known by Cosma Iwu, the secretary to the state government.

The suspension is effective immediately and is part of the government's strategy to realign the Imo Housing Corporation with the present administration's agenda. The governor's office expressed a desire for the corporation to enhance its service delivery.

Ucheoma had been in office for a year prior to this decision. The governor's administration is looking forward to appointing a new managing director who will be tasked with overseeing the corporation's operations until the former managing director's retirement in May 2025.
