VeryDarkMan Apologizes to Security Forces After NBA Remarks

Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as VeryDarkMan, publicly apologized on September 4, 2023, to members of the Nigerian police, customs, and immigration services for comments made during the Nigerian Bar Association's 66th Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Otse had previously described military and security personnel as "unknown gunmen" while discussing Nigeria's insecurity, which led to significant backlash.

In his apology, he expressed remorse for potentially condemning soldiers who risk their lives for the public and specifically addressed the Chief of Defence Staff, requesting that his apology be conveyed to troops in the field.
