Atiku Abubakar's Wife Advocates Philanthropy in Politics

Mrs. Titi Abubakar, the wife of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Africa Democratic Congress presidential candidate for the 2027 elections, asserted that her husband does not seek wealth or power but aims to give back to society. In a video shared on TV Platinum’s X page, she campaigned for Atiku, describing him as a philanthropist and an experienced leader who will not need to learn on the job.

She dismissed claims that Atiku, who will turn 80 this year, has personal ambitions, stating his motivation is to serve the public. Mrs. Abubakar expressed confidence that Nigerians would eventually call for Atiku to serve a second term, despite his initial indication of serving only once.

She criticized the current state of the economy and governance, lamenting the lack of a constitution and rule of law. Furthermore, she mentioned that Atiku intends to mentor young Nigerians in governance, preparing his running mate to succeed him after his term.
