Emotional Moment as Delta Governor Swears in Commissioner

On Tuesday, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State swore in Hon. Mose Ogodo as a commissioner during a ceremony at the Government House in Asaba. The event turned emotional when Ogodo, after taking the oath of office, broke down in tears and attempted to kneel before the governor in appreciation.

However, Oborevwori immediately intervened, advising Ogodo not to kneel but to stand and serve the people of Delta together. This response from the governor was noted by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Ossai Ovi Success, who described the moment as reflective of the governor's leadership style.

The atmosphere at the ceremony intensified with applause from guests as Ogodo wiped away tears and moved toward the governor, who encouraged him to embrace his role with humility and commitment to service.
