Primate Ayodele Predicted Adeleke's 2026 Victory Accurately

Primate Elijah Ayodele accurately predicted that Governor Ademola Adeleke would retain his position in the 2026 Osun governorship election. Adeleke, who contested under the Accord Party, was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday, receiving 511,067 votes against Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 444,815 votes.

Ayodele made his initial prediction in February 2025 during an event at the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, stating that Adeleke would win regardless of the APC candidate, specifically mentioning former governor Gboyega Oyetola. He reiterated that Adeleke would prevail even if President Bola Tinubu supported the APC candidate.

As the election approached, Ayodele warned that the APC could only win through manipulation and advised candidates against unnecessary spending. He consistently stated that the Accord Party would emerge victorious, urging INEC to ensure a fair electoral process.
