Kukah Cautions Jonathan on 2027 Presidential Ambition

Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah, advised former President Goodluck Jonathan to be cautious about his potential 2027 presidential ambition. Kukah commended Jonathan for his role in Nigeria's democracy, particularly his peaceful concession in 2015.

While acknowledging Jonathan's sacrifice for peace, Kukah urged him to consider the national interest and tread carefully in his political decisions. Quoting General Theophilus Danjuma, Kukah emphasized the importance of discerning between the voice of the devil and the voice of God in making political choices.
