Cleric Urges Conscience Voting in Osun Governorship Election

Ahead of the governorship election in Osun State scheduled for Saturday, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo of the Christ Apostolic Church Adamimogo and Grace Of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide urged voters to assess the competence and character of candidates before making their choices. Speaking at an annual prayer and fasting program on Sunday night at the Adamimogo Jesus City Camp ground in Lekki/Epe Expressway, Lagos, he emphasized that voters should not allow monetary inducements to influence their decisions.

Olu-Alo highlighted the importance of selecting leaders based on integrity and genuine commitment to public service, warning that selling votes would lead to negative consequences for governance. He advised voters to think deeply about their choices and to ensure they do not vote out of bitterness.

Additionally, he cautioned youths against being used by politicians to incite violence during elections, stressing the need for peaceful voting.
