WACT-APM Terminals Appoints First Nigerian MD

WACT-APM Terminals has appointed Mr. Courag Obadagbonyi as the first Nigerian Managing Director, effective July 1, 2026.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for the company as it pursues an ambitious growth and expansion agenda. Mr.

Obadagbonyi will succeed Mr. Jeethu Jose, who has held the position previously.

With over two decades of international experience in finance and operations management, Mr. Obadagbonyi has served as the Chief Financial Officer for APM Terminals Nigeria Cluster, overseeing financial strategies across Nigeria and San Pedro, Côte d'Ivoire.

His leadership experience within the group’s Nigerian operations is expected to strengthen the company's role in Nigeria's maritime logistics sector and drive significant investments in infrastructure and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
