Courag Obadagbonyi Becomes First Nigerian MD of WACT-APM

WACT-APM Terminals has appointed Courag Obadagbonyi as its first Nigerian Managing Director, effective July 1. He succeeds Jeethu Jose in this role.

This appointment reflects the company's commitment to developing strong leadership from its global talent pool to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. Obadagbonyi has over two decades of international experience, having held leadership roles in finance and operations across various sectors, including oil and gas, power generation, logistics, and healthcare.

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for APM Terminals Nigeria and has also acted as Managing Director for APM Terminals in San Pedro, Côte d'Ivoire. His expertise in financial management and risk optimization is expected to enhance business performance.

Frederik Klink, Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals Nigeria, noted that Obadagbonyi's experience will support the next phase of operational excellence and value delivery for WACT. The company has been operational since 2006 and continues to invest in capacity expansion and modernization.
