APC Surprised by Obi and Kwankwaso's Recent Alignment

The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed surprise regarding the recent alignment between Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). This alignment was highlighted during an Eid el-Fitr gathering hosted by Kwankwaso, which took place on Sunday.

The event also featured the former Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, and the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde. Kwankwaso described the gathering as a moment of unity and joyous celebration.

However, Auwal Mai Nage, the APC's public secretary, reacted to the meeting by questioning its political relevance and expressing disappointment over the turnout, which he suggested was far below expectations. Mai Nage further alleged that Obi's political moves were driven by regional considerations.
