Wema Bank Launches Hackaholics Accelerator 2026 Cohort

Wema Bank has officially launched the Hackaholics Accelerator 2026 Cohort, featuring ten startups selected from the top finalists of the Hackaholics 6.0 competition. This initiative aims to assist promising Nigerian startups in strengthening their business foundations to prepare for sustainable growth and investment.

Over the past six years, the Hackaholics platform has evolved into a significant support system for entrepreneurs, revealing the depth of innovative potential in Nigeria. Moruf Oseni, Managing Director and CEO of Wema Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting founders beyond the idea stage, helping them build sustainable businesses.

Babatund Mumuni, Chief Transformation Officer at Wema Bank, noted that the selected startups already have strong foundations and market traction, indicating their potential for growth. The program will provide structured mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to networks to refine business models and deepen market traction.
