Abia Deputy Governor Welcomes Tinubu into Labour Party

Abia State Deputy Governor, Ikechukwu Emetu, has announced the Labour Party's openness to welcoming Bola Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State, into the party. Emetu emphasized the party's inclusive nature during a membership revalidation exercise overseen by Nenadi Usman, the head of the party's caretaker committee.

Emetu clarified that the Labour Party is not a cult group and is open to all individuals interested in joining, including prominent figures like Tinubu. He stated that both Tinubu and even the President, if he so chooses, are free to join the party.
