Agbonayinma Accuses Oshiomhole of Blocking Appointment

Former member of the House of Representatives, Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, has publicly criticized Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State, for allegedly obstructing his appointment as chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau. Agbonayinma, who represented the Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency from 2015 to 2019, expressed his grievances in a statement.

He lamented that the political landscape in Edo State, particularly in Edo North, has been marred by dictatorial practices, specifically pointing to Oshiomhole's influence. Agbonayinma's comments also referenced other political figures, including Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, a senatorial aspirant for Edo South, highlighting the broader implications of Oshiomhole's actions on local governance and political appointments within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
