PDP Chieftain Dismisses Calls for Party Leadership Dissolution by Former Governor

Umar Sani, a PDP chieftain, has rejected the 10-day ultimatum issued by former Jigawa State Governor, Lamido, demanding the dissolution of the party's leadership. Sani, in an interview with the BBC, urged Lamido to set aside his grievances and work with the current leadership.

He emphasized that demands to disintegrate the party are impossible. Meanwhile, PDP loyalists in Jigawa State, including Babandi Ibrahim Gumel, maintain that any violation of party regulations will result in the emergence of new leadership.
