Ozedikus Nwann Explains Shift from Gospel to Secular Music

Ozedikus Nwann, popularly known as Ozedikus, shared his journey from gospel music to secular music in an interview. He explained that his early involvement in gospel music laid a foundation for his career, but the financial rewards were not sufficient to sustain him.

He played piano in a church band, which provided some income, but he realized that producing secular music offered better opportunities for growth and earning. Ozedikus noted that he often worked without payment and struggled to gain recognition while playing in church for months without compensation.

Around 2017, he fully committed to music production, navigating creative disagreements and handling business responsibilities, which eventually led him to hire a manager to organize his work.
