Wigwe University Offers 30% Tuition Discount for 2026/2027

Wigwe University has announced a Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic session, which provides a 30% reduction in tuition fees for students who achieve JAMB (UTME) scores between 180 and 219. This scholarship aims to support a significant number of candidates who may have perceived their scores as insufficient for financial assistance from a private university.

After the discount, students admitted into the College of Arts will pay ₦6,720,000, while those in Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, and Science and Computing will each pay ₦8,399,160 for the session. The scholarship applies uniformly across four academic colleges based on their standard fee structures.

This initiative, backed by the Vice-Chancellor, is particularly relevant for families considering private university options for the upcoming academic year, as the JAMB score range of 180 to 219 is commonly achieved by many Nigerian candidates.
