Wike Approves Promotion for 3,592 FCT Civil Servants

Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, has approved the promotion of 3,592 civil servants after the successful completion of the 2025 promotion exercise conducted by the FCT Civil Service Commission. This announcement was made on Wednesday by Emeka Ezeh, the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, through a statement shared by Lere Olayinka, the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.

The promotion examinations for senior officers took place from July 1 to 3, while junior staff participated on July 10. Ezeh described the promotion as a demonstration of the administration's commitment to staff welfare, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also indicated that Wike directed the commission to start the 2026 promotion exercise promptly. Ezeh emphasized that promoting FCT workers is a priority to complement ongoing infrastructure development and ensure civil servants benefit from the achievements under the Tinubu administration.
