Wike Outraged Over Super Eagles' World Cup Absence

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed his outrage regarding the Super Eagles' failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Wike voiced his disappointment during the commissioning of a 7km dual carriageway in Kuje, Gwagwalada, on a date not specified in the article.

He remarked that the Nigerian public feels disgusted by the absence of the national team, especially as the tournament expands to include 48 teams, which could have allowed for more African representation.
